Abstract
One of the most serious crimes in international criminal law is the crime of genocide. The crime of genocide is recognized as a crime both in international practice and in international treaties and the statutes of international criminal courts, with the expansion of international law in the last two centuries, attention to human rights and the fight against genocide or genocide at the global level. It has increased and many governmental and non-governmental international organizations have planned various policies to fight against it, which are focused on legal and political dimensions. The International Criminal Court and the United Nations are the most important institutions created by governments, and each of them has taken legal and political steps to respect basic human rights according to their statutes and goals, but despite the efforts of these two organizations, the political considerations in the international system It has affected the legal and legal issues related to genocide and reduced the guarantee of the implementation of a number of court rulings or UN decisions
