The Quarterly Journal of International Criminal Law was established on 11 October 2021 (Registration No. 88874) with the license of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, and officially commenced publication in Spring 2022 (Farvardin 1401).

The journal’s mission is to explore and expand the frontiers of international criminal law. Its scope encompasses the study, analysis, comparison, and interaction of international criminal law doctrines with other related disciplines.

Under an international publication license and the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) permit, readers are free to copy and distribute the content in any format.

The processing, peer review, and publication of articles are free of charge.

The journal fully adheres to the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), observes the Research Ethics Charter of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, and complies with the Executive Regulations of the Law on the Prevention and Confrontation of Academic Misconduct.
