The rapid advancement of robotic technology, while promising increased productivity and operational precision, has created unprecedented challenges for human rights frameworks and social norms. This descriptive-analytical study clearly shows that the use of robots in various fields, from industry and medicine to municipal services, can violate fundamental human rights. The widespread replacement of human labor with robots undermines the right to employment and fair working conditions. In the medical field, technical errors and vulnerability to cyberattacks in robotic surgeries endanger the right to life and health. Also, the use of systems such as unmanned aircraft, civilian drones, and sensor-equipped robots violates privacy, security, and individual freedoms. Furthermore, the autonomous nature of robots challenges traditional principles of liability and makes it difficult to account for harm. This study highlights the existing regulatory gaps and stresses the urgent need for international institutions to develop comprehensive and binding legal frameworks to curb the negative impacts of this technology and ensure its compliance with human rights standards.
