Abstract
In the international documents and the statute of the International Criminal Court, there are rules regarding the protection of the rights of witnesses and victims. This is important in the sense that the role of these people in the process of criminal proceedings is very important and important and is one of the important and necessary cases of judicial justice. Non-disclosure of the identity of the victim and the witness leads to suspicion. This article seeks to review and analyze these regulations in support of protecting the rights of victims and witnesses. As a result, in special circumstances, important crimes such as genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes become more important. And on the other hand, these protections should be limited to a certain time in the proceedings.
